Our Story

In 2013 a group of sweet momma’s got together and decided that they were ready to be soccer moms! We rounded up enough three year old buddies to start a team and an awesome dad to coach.  Coming up with a name was the toughest part.  We let the boys and parents throw out suggestions and when DinoScores was eventually suggested, we knew it was the perfect fit for our tiny team.

Every 10 weeks since Spring of 2013 our DinoScores have taken the field for a new season.  These boys became the best of friends and learned to love the game.  While the boys were three, they were playing for fun but as they experienced success, the parents noticed they quickly became competitive which was immediately noticeable as they began keeping score on their own.  As the boys grew up, so did our team.  With adding siblings, friends, and kids that were interested in playing for the DinoScores after seeing the boys play, we then had expanded the DinoScores into four different teams, with kids from birth year 2013-2011.

The team began practicing, and as they did, their technique significantly improved.  The team started to dominate in their league season after season.  After seeing the success of the oldest DinoScores team in their league play the DinoScores played in a tournament and finished on top.  They then moved up in leagues and were playing kids up to two years older than their team.  The DinoScores were able to win the league, score 85 goals on the season, maintain the best goal differential, as well as win the league championship game in their first season in the older league.  With the DinoScores success, we knew that the boys were ready for a more competitive atmosphere.

In order to enter the more competitive environment that was needed for the oldest DinoScores team we knew it was appropriate to develop AlphaForms.  AlphaForms is the team that is formed from kids that are participating in Forms Academy.  At the time this was originally written (06/2017), we currently rostered one AlphaForms 2011 and 2010 team.  Since then, we've grown to over 10 teams and continue to remain excited about the future development of our program.
